South Africa declines in the economic freedom rankings once again

The FMF is proud to launch the Economic Freedom of the World Report 2023 in partnership with the Fraser Institute in Canada.

The report measures the degree to which countries are supportive of economic freedom along the following verticals:

  1. Size of Government
  2. Legal System and Property Rights
  3. Sound Money
  4. Freedom to Trade Internationally
  5. Regulation

Watch the webinar above as FMF CEO David Ansara and FMF associate Neil Emerick unpack the latest index, where South Africa has lost ground, and the undeniable evidence that free markets foster prosperity even for the poorest 10%.
