FMF Newsletter - NHI is a threat to healthcare freedom in SA

14 June 2023

National Assembly’s passing of the NHI Bill a threat to healthcare freedom

The ill-conceived NHI Bill goes ahead despite concerns from the healthcare sector and the public.

National Health Insurance will harm the private health sector and will lead to quality health care being compromised.

Government should focus on fixing the public health system and exploring affordable private care options instead.
