Khaya Lam and BetterHome Group handed out 70 title deeds in Moqhaka

The Free Market Foundation's Khaya Lam (My Home) land reform project hosted another heart-warming title deed event in Moqhaka, Free State on 7 November 2022.

In addition to the new homeowners, the sponsors (BetterHome Group) and the Khaya Lam Free State team, the following attended from the municipality: a member of the mayoral committee (MMC), the housing director and the housing manager.

70 title deeds were handed out at the event; the remaining 83 will be collected by recipients from the council offices.

With the generous support of sponsors and conveyancers, the FMF has to date transferred over 9,600 properties to former council tenants. Thank you to all concerned – you are changing lives!
