FMF NEWSLETTER 26 APRIL 2017

EDITORIAL

Dear friend of the FMF

This week’s feature article proposes innovative changes that should be made to improve the lives of the poorest South Africans. The author describes the enormous improvement in the lives of people everywhere during the last two centuries due to the economic revolution, which came to be known as the Industrial Revolution, that started in England and spread to the rest of the world. With the right policies, South Africa could experience its own economic revolution.

FEATURE article

Time for South Africans to live and let live – TEMBA A NOLUTSHUNGU

The country’s economic junk status is a direct result of policy intransigence. Current government decisions appear to be based on a lack of consideration for the lessons of history. Economies are fragile. Persistent adverse policy-making breaks down an economy, reduces productive investment and economic activity, and causes untold harm to citizens.
